Abergavenny - Authentic Welsh Living in a Wonderful Cottage

The entire house and enclosed outside area, complete with shabby chic summer house is yours. Very private. The two main bedrooms have zip and link beds which can be converted to Superking and Kingsize on request. As above, it’s all yours....there’s a separate laundry equipped with washing machine and dryer, and a basin in which to clean shoes and dogs. A phone call and short walk away. Definitely not under your feet. The home is in a quiet, picturesque neighbourhood. From here, walk to tasty restaurants, lively local pubs, and explore the town centre's boutique shops. There are also fun activities nearby from fishing and horse riding to hiking and historic spots. Ideally situated you don’t need a car if you intend to stay in and around Abergavenny. It’s a delightful town on your doorstep. If you want to venture further afield there are buses ( 2minutes walk) taxis and trains and of course your car parked securely on the street outside the cottage. There is a secure side entrance where bikes can be brought around and kept securely...either with a cover or in the summer house. There’s even a dog flap in the kitchen door for canine companions.

We provide freshly baked bread on arrival & home made marmalade & jam, butter, milk, tea & coffee. Just a stroll away from our friendly, foodie village pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. It’s a special place, nestled in its own little corner of my garden, with an emphasis on luxury and lovely things. Our stylish & cosy hideaway is the ultimate escape where you can re-wild yourself in acres of tranquility. Wander straight out the door onto the mountains taking in some breathtaking views. Return home to the sauna, soothe tired limbs & then relax by spinning some vinyl from the record collection, whilst the log burner crackles & the owls enthusiastically serenade as dusk sets in! (plus we now have an indoor padel ball court for you to exercise your inner Federer!!)

Cosy Country Cottage Two Bedroom Annex (The Cwtch)

'The Cwtch' at Dan y Coed is set in the small village of Gilwern near to Crickhowell and Abergavenny. The 200 year old cottage is set on a quiet country lane in the heart of the Brecon Beacons . ‘The Cwtch’ is an annex on the right side of the property. A private part of the house, it does however share the main entrance only. Its self catering with fridge, microwave toaster and a cooker . Comprising of two double bedrooms, living space and private shower room

Flagstone Cottage, Broadley Farm

Flagstone Cottage has a lovely open fireplace and is on a quiet remote farm in Llanthony in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Wonderful mountain views from the cottage. There are miles of footpaths in these uncrowded hills, the only sounds are birds and sheep. Two pubs are in walking distance: The historic Llanthony Priory Cellar bar which serves delicious home made food and the welcoming Half Moon Hotel - good beer and great for walkers and dog owners.

Beech Cottage, spacious rural retreat

Beautiful 1 bedroom self-catering cottage. Situated within a stunning barn conversion, complete with gallery and cafe. The cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine & dishwasher. The en-suite has a bath & shower. We are happy for you to bring your lovely pets, the outdoor private area for the cottage is not fully enclosed sadly but we do have a paddock you can use and there are plenty of fab dog walking/swimming spots locally.
