Learn to cook organic vegan Japanese food.

I'll teach you how to cook a Vegan Japanese Shoujin course using organic and small-batch, natural farmed ingredients.
I'll demonstrate that vegan dishes can be healthy, flavorful and filling. I'll introduce you to my favorite Japanese vegan artisanal ingredients like shouyu and mirin.
We'll talk about the traditional Japanese farmers and the importance of protecting their methods.
After cooking, we'll eat the course and you can take the printed recipes with you.

The experience with Aiko was amazing. First of all the food was delicious and we made a huge platter of a variety of vegan dishes. She even made some homemade tofu while I was there for me to try. Her friend came over after and made matcha with a sweet. Just talking with Aiko was very enjoyable and I feel like I made a friend outside of the experience as I was traveling alone - maybe it’s the vegan connection lol.

This was a seriously inspiring experience. I learned so much about Japanese cuisine and ate some of the best food I've had in Japan. Aiko was so warm and knowledgeable and made us feel extremely welcome. We left with some very valuable recipes which we plan to have a crack at once we are back in Australia. Thank you for this experience. It was the highlight of our Japan trip.

Great experience. Small class (max 5 people). Took turns in doing tasks, but it's not all of us making everything at once. Aiko was welcoming and was happy to answer some questions.

We spent an amazing evening with Aiko! She is such a lovely person and host. We felt welcome and very comfortable. We cooked together MANY dishes (using only the best quality ingredients!) so it was definitely worth the money. We have the same interests too so we spent a lot of time chatting and we even spent whole afternoon together next day. If you are vegan, cooking class with Aiko is a must-do in Kanazawa! 😊 I hope we are gonna see each other again!
