Portland is famous for its zillion food carts & the Cartlandia Food Cart Pod is one of the biggest & best! It has everything from Indian food, Central American cuisine (yummy Pupusas), Southern food, a VooDoo Donuts Cart (skip the long lines at VooDoo Donuts downtown), Thai, Vietnamese, Korean & one of my favorites: Iraqi cuisine! I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch more, oh and there's indoor/outdoor seating as well as a full service bar (you can take your food cart meals into the bar if you like).

Only locals know about this little no-frills hole-in-the-wall authentic Chinese place on SE 67th & Powell. In fact in the area of Powell & 82nd Ave there are a myriad of little asian cafe's that the Foodies are only now just beginning to discover.... At Powell Seafood you will likely be told what to order rather than the other way around! Powell Seafood makes THE BEST General Tso's Chicken in Portland hands down. Also the Pepper & Salt Shrimp (no tail) is second to none, don't forget the Dry Sauteed String Beans.

It has two giant historic reservoirs (the Mt Tabor neighborhoods are constantly battling with the city to reopen these iconic reservoirs, closed in response to 9/11 attacks), as well as an enclosed doggie park, tennis courts, kids playground, car-less roads, hiking trails and (after the morning haze & drizzle burns off) stunning views of the city.
