A personal favourite, on a small quiet square. It has great wine, cheese and meat platters, and meals. The decoration is charming. I strongly suggest it if you wish to have genuine French meal.

One of my personal favorites. Amazing ramen. The choice is limited to 4 dishes but they are all home made and delicious. The inside is decorated like an alleyway somewhere in South East Asia. Avoid peak hours, mostly on weekends, or be ready for a very long lineup!

THE best place for delicious crepes. The place is pretty crammed and there can be a lineup so avoid evening peak hours. Both savoury and sweet crepes are do die for. Really.

Wine is not the only drink to try in Paris! This place has an amazing selection of beers from all over the world, and a great outside patio to boot. Pints are 5.5 euros every Sunday and Monday nights.

In the evening, this street is bustling with a mix of students looking for cheap drinks and tourists visiting the iconic street. My favourite bars are the Mayflower if I am looking for a good beer, and La montagne sans Genviève if I feel like a glass of wine. By all means do avoid the touristy restaurants, that are of mediocre quality!!!

A 15 min walk away, the Jardin des Plantes is great, especially if you have children. There is a small zoo and multiple museums, the natural history museum the best in my opinion! Great spot for a picnic as well.
