It's just unbelievable, you have to go through the entire ship. However, it's exhausting and a lot of walking. Wear really comfortable foot wear and clothing. Go early so you don't have to rush...look at the sites from the flight deck. You'll fall in love with air craft carriers forever. God Bless the USA!

Go to any game! You don't have to love baseball to LOVE your time in this park. Greatest date EVER! Great food and tons of excellent beer options. No bad seats in the entire place but I prefer UP HIGH behind Home Plate over the outfield...but it all depends on what you like. Just go! STUB Hub has excellent seats at cheap prices.

Parking permits sold at the Entrance by park rangers. Be sure to start at the top in the visitor center. If you really want to do this right the first time, ask them to play the little movie for you before hiking on the trails down to the ocean.

It's a great starting place in Balboa Park. Then have drinks or lunch/dinner at the Prado. At least stroll up and down Balboa Park. It's a very special San Diego landmark...my Dad's favorite place in San Diego.
