Another La Jolla Shores favorite of mine. My family will pick up a sandwich (either the turkey jack avo or tuna) and eat at the park along side la jolla shores beach, just watch out for the birds ;) Great sunny day outing.

My family and I regularly visit the catamaran. We start at fanual park and let the kids play at the playground. From there we walk to catamaran (about 10min walk) for drinks and appetizers. If you have kids, you can sit close to the bay sand or grass and let the kids run free while you enjoy your drinks. ;)

This Torrey Pines hike takes you to the best of the park - rare Torrey Pines, ocean views, and unique geology. Torrey Pines Natural Reserve is one of those once in a lifetime destinations. I highly recommend this hike!

If you have the time, julian is a fun day trip. It's about an hour drive. It is famous for their apple pies, which they serve on the main street. They also have lots of cute little shops.
