Eclectic coffee shop with insanely delicious coffee and deserts. A healthy mix of personalities here. College students, laptop junkies, friends, folks on dates, etc. We like to go here for coffee after a date night dinner on occasions. I like the vanilla lattes and pretty much all the deserts! :)

One of our favorite Sushi joints. It's small and they don't take reservations so get there early to get a seat quick. Call ahead to check how busy they are.

Parks & Nature
This mountain preserve has endless hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking options. There are a number of locations from which to enter the park. You could get to the trails by walking from our home, or you could drive to the 19th Ave entrance or the Central Avenue entrance. The Central Ave entrance provides access to paved roads so you can drive to the top for amazing views. Follow the signs once your up the mountains to the TV Towers for the best views. The Central Ave entrance also has horse riding services. You could also enter the park by driving around the mountain to the Ahwatukee entrance. This entrance is very popular for hikers to start their hikes and also for mountain bikers. If you want to get to see Fat Mans Pass, this entrance is best. It's about a 3-4 mile hike to Fat Mans Pass from here depending on the trails you take.

Entertainment & Activities
We LOVE this movie theater. All the theaters here have a full menu and reserved seating. For a few extra dollars you get a nice large seat and sit down dining service. They have a full bar too. You can buy your tickets and pick your seats on Fandango. This movie theater is located at the Esplanade. There are numerous restaurants at the Esplanade and there are more across the street at the Biltmore Fashion Square. You can park for free in the back of the Fashion Square. Sometimes, we'll park at the Fashion Square and eat dinner there, grab some dessert and then walk in the tunnel under Camelback over to the movie theater for our movie. In that case, we'll just get popcorn and drinks at the theater.
