The Blue Herons love the lake in this refuge. The Springwater Corridor runs along the West side of the park, a hiking trail along it's East side. Ducks and egrets hang out here too. I saw a Barred Owl here once!

A great little park where many people launch kayaks and other non-motorized watercraft. Lots of folks walk their dogs along the beach. You can also follow a wooded trail out along the river.

Lots of big trees, tennis courts, a baseball diamond and a short trail that will take you to a trail down to the Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge or you can exit the park to follow the road along the top of the bluff. Nice city views!

Miles and miles and miles of trails through forests, along creeks...very beautiful. The park also hosts the Audubon Society Center with some birds in recovery like owls and hawks. You can also walk from the Lower Macleay Park all the way up to Pittock Mansion.
