In the summer, Alki is the place to be. Sunbathing, beach volleyball, lowriders, longboards... When the gray skies leave, this is how Seattleites celebrate! If you get there early, do weekend brunch at Cactus. Midday, grab lunch at Marination. Dinner time, Phoenicia or Duke's are great.

Add to that the Museum of Pop Culture, the Chihuly Glass Museum, the Pacific Science Center, the KEXP radio station, and so many other attractions and you have a destination popular with visitors and locals alike. (Pro tip: eat lunch at Skillet in The Armory. The kale caesar with fried chicken will cure what ails you)
