You cannot leave Rome without having tried suppli, a Roman rice ball sold at every pizzeria, as appetizer pre-pizza. Romans love suppli, and this is considered one of the best spots in Rome. Just outside the Re Di Roma subway station line A. Best staff ever. Suppli, fried baccala fillets a must try. Their pizza was awesome too. Only a couple of high tables and tight counter spaces, no chairs, but who cares, you will finish a suppli in two bites or enjoy it while walking around the square.
