This is a great spot any time of day. Great late-night scene with outdoor fire pit, open roof-top seating, good food and drinks, live music, trivia night, etc. Also great for brunch- and no crazy lines on weekends like the rest of PDX.

This is one of our all-time favorites, and if you like mac & cheese and/or Southern/cajun cuisine it's worth the trip. It's in a weird location- literally underneath the Morrison Bridge- but it's a local gem and worth the Uber ride across town :)

They have a gorgeous rose garden with a beautiful fountain, huge open grassy spaces and great playgrounds for the kids. This park is over 100 years old and one of my top favorite parks in the city. (The other 2 are Laurelhurst and Washington Park). Short bike ride or walk from our house.
