The JRC provides a home for injured or orphaned animals, but they focus on reintroducing the animals into the wild. On their daily tour you will be in close proximity with monkeys, wild cats, sloths, anteaters and more.

This place at Cocles is also worth a visit if you are interested in animals. This is a rescuecenter were you walk around with a guide that shows you the animals and tell you about them and the rescuecenter which works with volunteers from all over the world.
