A perfect location to capture sunrise and sunset on the fabulous rustic pier which was built in 1913 to ship timber, coal, and sugar from the regions main port. Also a very popular fishing spot along the 868 m long pier. Watch the sea creatures play as you take a walk, and take in the spectacular views of Hervey Bay and Fraser Island.

It was built between 1913 and 1917, originally to a length of 1107 metres. The pier was closed in 1985, and 239 metres of it was demolished. However, due to public outcry, 868 metres of it remains
