If you're in midtown, this is one of my favorite chinese restaurants. Traditional Sichuan food with sophisticated decor. I love the garlic bacon dish. Pretty much everything is good. No tip required. It's a Michelin star restaurant.

Little neighborhood gem Szechuan cuisine - think spicy! Holds a Michelin Star. I recommend the Chungking Chicken and the Shredded Beef. Mmmmm.......

You'll have to walk to the East side or hop a cab, but it's totally worth it to dine at this high-end award-winning Chinese restaurant. They also have a wonderful wine list. Make reservations and bring a hearty appetite.
