These gardens are unique for Britain. When first stepping in, we were quite taken aback by sweeping views and the rococo design. Every corner had a point of interest. The heart of the garden held a glamorous vegetable patch, which was honestly more impressive than I can put into words. The cafe has a simple menu but we enjoyed it. Friendly staff and good service. Because of the style and location of the garden, I wouldn’t say it is buggy-friendly. We took a carrier and we’re happy that we did!

Painswick Rococo Garden is quirky and pretty unique. Designed in the 1740s as a fanciful pleasure garden for the owner of Painswick House and his guests, today it’s a place to roam free, to get up close and personal with nature, or to feel the warmth of the sun on your face as you take in the spectacular views of the Cotswold countryside and magical follies. Good cafe great homemade cakes.

The UK's only surviving complete rococo garden and a real hidden gem. Designed in the 1740's as a flamboyant pleasure garden, you'll find fanciful garden buildings and stunning views of the surrounding countryside to while away the hours. GL6 6TH

Painswick Rococo Garden is unique in that it is the only surviving garden of the rococo period which is open to the public. The Garden is on the Historic England Register of Parks or Gardens of Special Historic Interest. This fabulously flamboyant garden is set down in the valley and open to the public, complete with a delicious café and gift shop.
