Independents for the win! They have weathered the big box bookstores as well as Amazon because customer service beats the rest. Great kids' section, nice little gift annex too.

Cute local bookstore attached to a kitchy gift shop. There is a red cart outside with all the advanced copies of books the store receives, which they let you take for free! Check out the other neat shops on Jay Street while you're down there.
