Lougratte Located at Lougratte, Aquitaine One of the Dordogne's few inland water parks Lougratte is a fresh water lake with swimming and boating for all. Featuring kids' climbing frames and a beach volleyball court is a great place to relax.

good fun for the family, this lake can be swam in with water slide and pedal boat hire, it also has a park and cafe.

We have not visited this lake but you might find this review we found useful: The lake it's self is very shallow until you go under the barrier where it deepens and you can then swim to the diving platform (you would have to be a confident swimmer to do this). There is a slide into the lake that opens at 2pm when the life guards start patrolling and pedalos to hire. There is also a play area, picnic tables, snack bar, toilets (bring your own loo roll) and BBQs. There is a lovely view across the lake to a pretty village.
