Brian Head Resort is about a 45 min drive. Once there you have multiple activities like chair lift ride to 11k foot elevation, mountain biking, zip line, disc golf and much more. Skiing is a major attraction during the winter months.

Visit Brian Head in the winter to enjoy skiing, tubing/sledding, and it's many snowmobile trails. Getting to Brian Head from the cabin: during winter take SR143 to Brian Head. During spring, summer, and fall take 14 S toward Cedar City, then a left on SR148 toward Brian Head.

It is about 68 miles on paved roads with speed limits from 55 - 80. Drive time is about 1 hr 15 minutes. I was there once many years ago in the summer and I thought it was wonderful, especially the drive up there, scenic and breath taking.

When you aren't tired from skiing, do some ice skating. Great for the kids!
