Because it's corny and the bartenders work really hard and are super, super sweet. And it's within walking distance! Lots of fun nightly specials and TV events.

Less than a 10 minute walk from The RoseBud and the closest bar on Hawthorne when walking west, Nick’s has become one of our favorite local bars. The husband and wife chef/bartending team will not remember you, but mention you like buck hunter and they will treat you like family until you leave. The hotdogs are served on toasted fluffy buns with top of the line ingredients and their house smoked wings are crispy and delicious! They also make all of their own sauces! The ranch is amazing and their bama sauce is a unique white, lightly spicy bbq. We highly recommend their Coney Island “sauce” as well which is a homemade meat sauce situation. Nick’s has been around since the 1950s and if you are into the Yankees almost every inch of wall is covered with memorabilia. They close at 9pm on weekdays and 12am on Friday and Saturday.
