Casual French cafe with patio dining serving traditional fare in stylish, airy environs. Friendly good value and tasty breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great happy hour drink. This bistrot is a drinking institution of the neighborhood. Outdoor seating. Live music some evenings.

Café, bar and restaurant. The main asse of Café Charbon is the superb19th century interior design with wood work, wrought iron and industrial revolution chandeliers. Brunch is fine but expensive, maybe just go there for a café or a drink.

On the ever-bustling Rue Oberkampf, the Café Charbon is an institution that has been attracting nocturnal Parisians for more than a century. I love to come during the day, even for lunch.
