It is a beautiful basilica in honor of St. Anthony. It is breathtaking and will be a truly memorable experience. At the entrance there is a guide indicating explanations of the main points. A shop sells souvenirs and, next, there is a multimedia room with the life story of St. Anthony.

Behind the high altar, nine radiating chapels punctuate a broad ambulatory homing in on the Cappella delle Reliquie (Relics Chapel), where the relics of St Anthony reside.

If you already know Venice I strongly suggest to catch a train from Mestre rail station toward Padova (local trains called 'Regionali' are cheap) and in about 30 minutes you reach Padua
