Great for swimming year round, protected from Winter waves by breakwall. Gorgeous beach!

The calm shore of Pokai Bay is a popular destination for visitors. The flat swell and sand is superb for stand-up paddling and beach walking. It is a 5 to 10 minute drive and right in Waianae.

Come here for a perfect little cove to protect against the big waves in the winter time. You can often see Hawaiian green sea turtles and Hawaiian Spinner dolphins in the early morning hours.

Protected no waves in one part of bay. Great for kids, and those looking for calm swimming. Other side of bay has small waves for beginning surfers. A great spot for SUP, snorkeling, swimming and outrigger canoe watching
