This is one of my favorite places of Vienna. In the museums quarter you can find one museum next to the other and they are all built like castles in the 19th century Austrian style. If you are interested in history and art you may want to visit one of the museums, but even if you're just going to…

“Of course you shouldnt miss and having time for a walk in the beautiful garden of Schloss Schönbrunn! Belvedere ist the second biggest castel (close to Juchgasse) and also really beautiful. But Schönbrunn is much bigger.”

“This tip is not a secret one. Everyone coming to Vienna will once visit Mariahilferstraße, as it is one of the largest streets of Vienna. It is full of stores, boutiques and all the big international brands have their flagship stores on Mariahilferstraße. Why you should visit it What most people do miss when shopping there is taking a look to the side streets to the left and right. There are some really nice boutiques hidden there. Best tips are Neubaugasse, Zollergasse, Kirchengasse, Otto-Bauer-Gasse to just name some of them. Perfect place for shopping, nice restaurants and cafe and meeting young people!”

“Kärntnerstraße is a shopping street in the city center The beloved street runs between Karlsplatz and St. Stephen's Cathedral. The boulevard begins at the height of the Vienna State Opera - more precisely at the Hotel Sacher. Tip 1: In the Café Sacher you can enjoy the original Sachertorte or you can take it packaged in a fine wooden box as a sweet Viennese souvenir. Tip 2. The department store Steffl (no 19) offers a wide range of designer goods and branded cosmetics. Tip 3: The panoramic glass elevator of the Steffi store leads to the café and restaurant of the chic Sky-Bar. Tip4 : Do not miss the Swarovski flagship store on Kärntnerstraße no. 24. Monday - Friday: 10:00 to 20:00 Saturday: 9:30 to 18:00 Accessibility: Underground U1 and U3 station Stephansplatz or U1, U2 and U4 station Karlsplatz”
