“Big Star Bar is the local dive. Depending on the night, this is one of the happening spots if you are the dive bar scene kind of person. This is my favorite bar in the area. I think every single staff member, bartender, bar back, and door guy are all great people. I'm not just saying that either. Some of the best people and conversations in my life have occurred over here. I like to say: "I'm going to Big Star to drink Lone Star and be part of a constellation." Dorky. Whatever. It's my spot!”

“I sometimes eat here 2-3 times a week. It is an incredible Thai/American food restaurant. I was reluctant to try this place since it looks like a dive on the outside, but i kept noticing the parking lot was packed even on random weeknights. If you go, try the country fried steak, lemongrass beef vermicelli bowl, or the shaking beef.”
