The Eddy is a peaceful wading section of the Mad River just down the road from us. The beach is rocky, much like most of the river-side swimming spots nearby, but picnicking is still possible. There are also a couple picnic tables in the shade above the river. This is a good spot for kids and toddlers to swim, as it is usually not too deep. 2 minutes away

This is a great swim spot for families and to spend a few hours relaxing in the sun! The water is shallow in several areas for younger children and there is a small beach that people do put beach chairs on. It is also very enjoyable to explore around the area as there are many beautiful waterfalls and rock formations nearby.
