Trianon-Masp Subway Station (green line). Economic and financial center of São Paulo, the avenue is closed to cars on Sundays and hosts makets and cultural activities. What to do in Paulista? 1 Bike Tour SP, Take a sightseeing tour on two wheels, 2 Mirante 9 de Julho, Enjoy music, art and, of course, culture. 3 Instituto Moreira Salles, Participate in exhibitions, film screenings and other activities. 4 Japan House. Get to know a little more about oriental culture. 5 Itaú Cultural, Participate in different options for cultural events.

The 2.8-kilometer long Avenida Paulista is located between the Center (the "old" city) and the West (the "modern" city) and almost predictably, the avenue looks like a perfect blend between the old and modern faces of São Paulo, with historical architecture coexisting with glass skyscrapers. The avenue is crowded day and night, with people from all ages, social classes, ethnical backgrounds, etc… In the avenue itself and in the streets surrounding it, one can find many shop galleries, restaurants, food courts, pubs, cafe's, cinemas, theaters and cultural centers, from all price ranges. But Paulista is much more than just a touristic attraction or an entertainment/shopping area.

The Avenida Paulista is probably the most modern street in the city. Of course it is a busy place but definitely a must visit if you go to Sao Paulo. You can find many shopping malls and restaurants there. Additionally, the Rua Augusta is connected to it and wonderful to find a restaurant in the evening to grab some food. Make sure you have a look at the Museu de Arte de São Paulo. They have great exhibitions and it is one of the best museums we ever went to! Enjoy!

Biggest and most famous avenue in SP. Famous for the tall and modern buildings. There is a cycle path and lots of street musicians.

A Paulista fica na mesma linha de metrô (verde) e tem de tudo: MASP, shoppings, Livraria Cultura, acesso à Rua Augusta e muito mais. // The Paulista Avenue is on the same subway line (green) and has it all: MASP, malls, Cultura Bookstore, access to Augusta Street and more.
