A very nice Café in the Old Botanical Garden with nice outside seating. You can chose between the classicals café/restaurant with service at the table, and the small but typcial beergarden.

5 min from Karlsplatz. Nice garden, traditional Bavarian and international food reasonably priced, live and DJ music.

Wonderful Biergarten in the summer! Do try to sit outside underneath the large oak trees. The atmosphere is wonderful.
