In my view this is the best food wine experience in the BOI. The views are stunning but you will need to book and drive so appoint a skipper.

A real treat. Sage restaurant at Paroa Bay is a stunning lunch and dinner spot. The food is amazing and views are spectacular.

Sage is a winery restaurant with stunning panoramic views of the Bay of Islands and an excellent dining experience accompanied by their boutique wines. A 15-minute drive from Russell it is a real must either to enjoy a wine tasting, platter, degustation, or a full menu selection. A courtesy shuttle is also on offer

For that special luncheon or dinner, travel across to Russell and on to the Paroa Bay Winery. Every course is made using seasonal ingredients, either grown on the property or sourced locally - such taste and such variety! The wine is pretty great too!
