On early sunday and monday mornings there's a nice market over there (with a small playground) and you can have your applepie and coffe over there. (also a typical Amsterdam café) where you can walk in with two girls at one a clock in the morning, have small talk with the clientele while feeling completely safe.

Amazing old "brown" cafe, nice applecake, soep, beer, sit outside and watch people pass by … Inside there are still carpets on the tables
