Classic and most magical food experience. This is the restaurant where the Skagen painters met, Anna Anchers childhood home. The place feels like time travel in the best way. There are multiple dinning rooms, decorated with impressionist paintings. The setting is somewhat formal and the menu. There are set menu options with wine pairings and the wine list is impressive. Recommend for lunch and dinner.

Hans Christian Andersen stayed at this hotel when he first visited Skagen, coming by horse and carriage along the beach. We recommend their layer-cake and coffee in the old garden
