Reddall Reserve is located on the foreshore of Lake Illawarra and is a great family location for picnic's, BBQ's, cycling, fishing, prawning and walking. The reserve has a huge grass area with plenty of picnic tables/shelters, BBQ's, public toilets, kiosk, fitness equipment, fishing platforms and a fish cleaning station. Why not hire a tinnie or join in the fun of stand up paddle boarding on the Lake! The reserve has a number of children's parks including the new all-inclusive playground inspired by the story of The Red Lamp. The playground is located on the eastern side of Reddall Reserve and is designed for the younger children. The Ninja exercise park is also a newly created space for all ages testing your strength and agility. Get a team together or beat the clock while you fly through the challenges. You can walk or cycle the Lake Illawarra Art Trail and explore local history, Aboriginal heritage, flora and fauna. The artworks were created by local artists in collaboration with the community in response to the lake, it's history and it's people. Here children can paddle, swim and play in safety and there are plenty of picnic and barbecue facilities, kiosk and toilets. The Pelican Park playground is a dynamic place for kids to play that was designed with wheelchair access in mind for children with disabilities.
