The largest museum dedicated to a single artist in the U.S. If you love art (even if you don't particularly love Warhol), go!
Pittsburgh son Andy Warhol grew up, became a world famous and oddly prescient artist - originally from Pittsburgh. I think the Warhola family still lives here, and his brother ran a scrap metal (what else, in Pittsburgh) shop near the river (near the museum, in fact). Definitely worth a visit.
Even if you’ve never heard of Andy Warhol (a Pittsburgh native!) it’s really fun to see all of the exhibits. The building itself is a wonderful piece of architecture.
