The complex on the city's Ormeau Avenue consists of Limelight 1 & Limelight 2, as well as a bar called Katy's Bar. The outdoor terrace is called The Rock Garden.[1] Limelight has strong associations with new bands, homegrown talent, and indie/rock/metal club nights.[2]

Rough Guide: "The north can certainly rival the south when it comes to musical talent. In days of yore, the leading lights were Van Morrison and the Undertones (the latter famously championed by the late John Peel), while in the 90s, it was the turn of indie-heroes Ash, from Down, and the Divine Comedy from Enniskillen. Fantastic selection of live music from big names and local names - tickets usually required prior or on the door. Also hosts many club nights and bar/pub grub during the day.
