It’s the largest cathedral in the world! As soon as you walk in, you get the strange sensation of feeling physically tiny at the same time that your mind is expanding. Gazing around, calming stained-glass windows and sculptures surround you. Right outside, the Cathedral’s cross-shaped Biblical Garden is a lovely place to reflect under a shady tree. Look for the works and faces of notables like Keith Haring, George Nakashima, Shakespeare, and Einstein sculpted into the walls. This place is filled with many little secrets.

Check out the largest cathedral in North America and an outrageous sculpture in the garden next door. Lots of funny and unique details to observe inside and out. **Worth the walk!** (112th & Broadway)

University
“The University was founded in 1754 by Alexander Hamilton, prior to America's establishment as a sovereign state, and was known King's College. Today, it's one of the world's leading education institution and one of the eight Ivy League universities. The campus itself is beautiful and worth a stroll through the grand gates on Broadway. ”

“I recommend the walnut hamentashen and the almond horns. For comfort food, they have the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever tasted. Cash only.”

The theater opened in 1914 as Hurtig & Seamon's New Burlesque Theater, and was designed by George Keister in the neo-Classical style. It became the Apollo in 1934, when it was opened to black patrons – previously it had been a whites-only venue. In 1983, both the interior and exterior of the building were designated as New York City Landmarks, and the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It is estimated that 1.3 million people visit the Apollo every year.”
