Walk to the chateau on the hill or eat at the restaurants. Kayak down the river. There’s parking right at the chateau ignore the parking at the bottom turn up at the side of the tourist information and follow your nose to the chateau you can’t miss it and park at the top. Pay and display. Great views as you walk from the car park there’s a grave yard turn left snd then walk up the small path you will see the town below and the river. It looks like a model village. There’s also ballooning here. Check out tourist information.

The feudal village of Beynac is a perfectly preserved medieval village, with the Dordogne River at its doorstep.
