Der Trümmelbach entwässert die Gletscherwände von Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau mit bis zu 20 m³ Wasser pro Sekunde aus einem Einzugsgebiet von 24 km². Mit ihren zehn Gletscher-Wasserfällen im Berginnern, durch einen Tunnel-Lift zugänglich gemacht, sind die Trümmelbachfälle einzigartig in Europa.

No visit to the valley is complete without visiting the Trümmelbach falls. The falls are open from April to October and are inside the mountain. The water rushing through the falls is the glacial runoff from the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau
