Vesterbro is known for hip hostels, cafés and organic restaurants and popular among hipsters. Vesterbro has fairly earned the title of the hippest district in Copenhagen.
Vesterbro is a buzzing area, full of cafees and people wearing sunclasses hanging out. Lots of shops with clothes, things and furniture (Danish design). Use to be a working class area, but the appartments are so expensive now, that only middleclass and rich people can afford them.
The once-seedy Copenhagen neighbourhood Vesterbro where I live, gives a flavour of the capital that locals enjoy, with designer shops and cafes, plus restaurants and night spots of the revamped Meatpacking District. I think Vesterbro is a mix between Paris, Berlin and Amsterdam! Very cosy, but still…
