Another innovative place, with locally sourced fresh food, and worthwhile specials of the day. Fork & Fig is across town in the Uptown area of Albuquerque. The chef doesn't have a deep fat fryer or a freezer, which means he's buying the food each day, and coming up with amazing specials. With small tables, this is best a place to go for parties of 2-4, especially in the colder months when the patio is closed.

This place is a gem! I was so happy when we found it. Really good gourmet style food, just a upscaled version of a burger with unique parings and combinations but not snobbish. Really small dining area, but patio is available. The patio walkway area is shared with other restaurants. You can also order from a distillery/brewery that is located across the patio area and they will bring your food over. The distillery is a really good find as well. It's called Broken Arrow. I also have it on my recommended breweries list!
