Walk to the traffic light and across the street to the trailhead. Head into the open space and find your way to the large trail heading up the hill. This connects to all the trails where you can explore the flatirons or just take in the view. Do yourself a favor and hike up and watch the sunrise, it's about a 20 minute hike, and it is breathtaking (both the view and the hike).
