An iconic London Inn (pub) that was frequented by Shakespeare and Dickens.
Medieval pub with large courtyard and lots of seating, good food and drink menu.
This pub has existed since medieval times - recorded on the first map of this area in 1543. Worth checking out for the history value alone.
Pub in a really really old listed building, not really cheap but nice surroundings
The huge, heaving beer garden is the main attraction at The George, which is owned by Windsor & Eton Brewery. If you’re looking for a drink on a sunny day, this is your first stop. Roasts are a feature, too: try the lovely pink beef piled high with crispy roast potatoes, cabbage and yorkshire pudding.
