City Park is a beautiful green space, full of large trees just steps from the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene. The park spans 17 acres and features a variety of activities including beach volleyball, basketball courts, pavilions, statues and the Fort Sherman Playground. This lovely park has plenty of shade from large mature trees, sculptures, picnic areas and BBQs. The park borders a long sandy beach complete with boat and kayak rentals. The must see Coeur d’Alene Carousel is located near the entrance to city park (open from May-September). At $2.50 a ride, this is fun for everyone, young and old alike. During the summer months you may even be able to catch a free outdoor movie in the park!

One of Cda's oldest and most picturesque and interesting parks/playgrounds. This historic location is full of CDA's most beautiful trees and runs along the boardwalk bordering Lake Coeur d'Alene, near CDA Resort. There is a carousel and skate park nearby, and it is easy walking distant to downtown CDA's shopping, pubs and restaurants. There also are many picnic tables and BBQing available, along with basketball and volleyball courts.
