Carolina is a little more old school and has a boardwalk with lots of shopping , restaurants, and ice cream shops. During the summer they do kids events, live music and other entertainment at the boardwalk stage/even area. Lots of great restaurants and desert shops too.

25 min drive to this wonderful beach with a great boardwalk , snack bars, and the BEST fresh donuts on the planet at Britt's. Go early and fall in love! There are also concerts , and fireworks.

Carolina Beach is such a fun town. Check out the boardwalk, beaches, and bars. Lots of fun for the whole family including arcades, carnival rides, and souvenir shops!

From April 1st-September 30th LEASHED dogs are allowed on the beach before 9am and after 5pm. From October 1st-March 31st LEASHED dogs are allowed at all hours.

If you have a 4x4 definitely check out north end beach. Your allowed to drive on beach if you get a permit.
