Cider brewery within walking distance... need I say more. Tours book up well in advance, so get ahead and book online before your trip. However, anyone can walk in and have 5 samples for free when they're open, and drink them right on the floor of the brewery.

This is our "go to" brewery - they are a cider house and they are awesome!! Down East is located near Pier's Park and they are in a warehouse type location. Each time you visit they give you 5 free samples of the cider and then you can always purchase your favorite one in cans or growlers. Definitely check this place out. If you sign up for the tasting tour then they tell you the history while doing taste tests!

Don’t let the industrial pics fool you there is also an outdoor “cider garden” if you want to chill and gather while you taste the best cider this side of Maine.
