Arrive to the smaller island of Ile Saint-Honorat. The small paradise includes a scenic ruin of what used to be a medieval fortress and about a half-dozen chapels around the island. Experience the famous wine made here, Saint Salonius, made from 100% Pinot Noir and traditionally served at the famous Cannes Film Festival. Visit the beautiful monastery where St Patrick studied.

Île Saint-Honorat Cistercian monks are the only inhabitants of the island. They divide their time between prayer and producing red and white wines, honey, lavender oil and Lérina, a herbal liqueur.

Cistercian monks are the only inhabitants of the smaller, southern St Honorat Island. Monks have inhabited the island since AD 410 and, at the height of their powers, owned Cannes, Mougins, and Vallauris. Medieval vestiges remain in the stark church, which is open to the public, and in the ruins of the 11th-century monastery on the sea shore. The monks inhabit the Lérins Abbey and divide their time between prayer and producing red and white wines.

The smallest of the Lérins Islands. Only one kilometer from the mainland. Easy access and perfect day trip. Nice clear water to swim and snorkel in. Make sure to bring your snorkeling gear. Home to a community of monks and is famous for Abbey Lérins where Monks still lives and have lived since year 400.
