Higashiyama Zoo 9 am - 4:30 pm Holiday : Mondays It has a small amusement park, too. There is a tower building where you can enjoy dinner with night view.(opens until 9pm) You can go there by subway Higasghiyama line from Nagoya station.

The Botanical Gardens are beautiful and can be visited along with the Zoo for only 500 yen. Make sure to see the "Sexy" Gorilla, Shabani.
