Aalesunds Museum is the county's oldest museum, established in 1903. In the main building itself, it is told, through exhibitions and pictures, how the town of Ålesund came to be and has developed. Fishing, war history, "the Bridal Egg" and the dramatic town fire in 1904 are among the many themes presented.

Interesting museum of Ålesunds history. Also have an observatory deck overlooking the city.

The town museum with a good exhibition from most of the town history. That includes the great fire, the fishing history, world war 2 and a lot other exciting events.
