Based in the heart of Walthamstow Village, Eat17 serves British food, sourced ethically, skilfully prepared and reasonably priced, in a relaxed and unpretentious setting, since 2007. Their meat comes straight from their own Butcher in Eat17 Hackney, who buys directly from reputable farms such as Packington Free Range in Staffordshire. The chicken and eggs are free range, fish is caught using sustainable methods and they make all our own ice creams, sauces & stocks on site. Fruit and veg is sourced locally wherever possible and they buy seasonally too. They also have excellent wines and ales, many of which are organic, and local beer on tap, as well as great cocktails to match.

Lovely food, for the area is sort of pricy but for the type of fresh food we found it fair and even cheap! You must book in advance especially weekends, it is one of the most popular restaurant of our area.

Eat 17 has very yummy food in a nice location in Walthamstow village. Try their buttermilk chicken for a food delight!
