Tucked away but worth it for the Mojito's . The service is wonderful, the vibe perfect and the tables outside do the job. My wife and I always head here for a pre or post dinner drink.

Whenever I am in Altea this is my local bar, because it accommodates for all walks of life; from non-drinkers (they have an excellent tea menu) to tourists and locals alike. AlteArte is a great place to meet other like-minded people at many of the events that they put on: from film and book clubs, to a weekly Spanish/English language exchange. The bar also functions as an Art Gallery showcasing work from local and international artists, who work in many different mediums.

Close to Altea Church you will find a nice area with a lot of restaurants and cafes. It is possible to take the train to Altea, from the closest train station
