Throughout the northwest and north coast of the island there are many beautiful beaches for swimming, but also some incredible places, such as Porto Timoni. Porto Timoni is a double beach between the bay of Agios Georgios ton Pagon and Afionas, a thin strip of land connects Corfu with a ledge in the sea that would otherwise be an island, the only drawback is that it is only accessible by boat from the sea .
