Ogden Water is a local Nature Reserve which offers a superb opportunity to escape from the stresses and strains of everyday life. Over 300,000 people visit Ogden Water every year for picnics, walking, feeding the ducks, family outings and nature activities.

This is a 60 hectare area of mixed conifer and broad leaf woodland. On the reservoir, the birds we tend to are Mallards. However, over winter we do get flashes of colour with visitors like: Goldeneyes; Goosanders; and Canada Geese. Other water birds you might see throughout the year include: Kingfishers; Dippers; Herons; and Great Crested Grebes. Great place for a relaxing walk.
